HYTE at TwitchCon 2022

What is TwitchCon?

TwitchCon is a convention that celebrates the Twitch platform, streaming, and gaming culture. Starting in 2015, Twitch Interactive wanted to create a show that uplifts and creates growth opportunities for its streamers and content creators. TwitchCon boasts many exciting activities such as LAN competitions, networking opportunities, influencer meet-and-greets, industry panels, and more!

When and Where was TwitchCon 2022?

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TwitchCon 2022 has returned to San Diego, California! This year, the event was hosted at the San Diego Convention Center from October 7th to October 9th.

Did you visit HYTE and iBUYPOWER at our partnered booths during TwitchCon 2022? We teamed up with WD_Black in Booth #3253 to bring you a Y60 case giveaway and exclusive streamer meet-and-greets. Attendees got the chance to meet and take pictures with our friends, BTMC and Kripparrian.

We were also invited back to Intel's streaming pod at booth #1605 to feature some of our favorite Twitch streamers all weekend. We were joined by popular streamers such as Jordan Fisher, Tayvix, and Braxophone.

What did we do at TwitchCon 2022?

• Y60 Scavenger Hunt

  • We placed our Y60 cases at different booths all throughout the event. We loved seeing your reactions to all the amazing Y60 builds we had out on display. Our partners, influencers, and our own team had some crazy mods to showcase during TwitchCon, and we're glad you enjoyed them all!

• Folding@Home Philanthropy

  • Teaming up with PC Master Race, we sold event-exclusive enamel pins that featured a PCMR-themed Y60. All proceeds from the pin sales were donated to Folding@Home, a project that allows you to donate your computing power to help fight global health threats such as COVID-19 and cancer.

• PC Building Simulator 2

  • This past month, PC Building Simulator announced the inclusion of our cases, the revolt 3 and Y60, in their upcoming sequel game. Leading up to the release, we teamed up to bring TwitchCon attendees a chance to demo the game (pre-launch) and win game keys. We also brought a huge giveaway that allowed 3 lucky participants to win hardware and a copy of PCBS2. PCBS2 is now out and available on Epic Games!
