HYTE is 50-Series Ready!

HYTE Y70, Y40, Y60, AND REVOLT 3 CASES ARE 50-SERIES READY!

Just like everyone else around the world, the HYTE team was plugged into all of CES’ announcements, with the biggest one being NVIDIA’s official reveal of their GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. All of us were waiting to see not only how powerful these new GPUs would get, but also how big they could get…especially if they couldn’t fit into our case! Well, after some initial testing, we’re happy to confirm that not only are our Y70 and Y70 Touch Infinite Cases compatible with the 50 Series video cards, but also the Y40 case, our iconic Y60 case and….as a delightful surprise, our premium ITX SFF case, the Revolt 3!

WAY back in the day when we launched the Y60, that was when NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs were out and about, so we designed that case to fit those particular cards. When it came to the design of the Y40, Y70 Touch, Y70, and Y70 Touch Infinite, our goal was to emphasize the amount of space needed to seat the card comfortably, while allowing for as much airflow as possible with the cases’ four-slot clearance. Funnily enough, the extra space offered allowed for a lot more room for personalization, which led to the Y70 being one of our most successful cases in 2023 and 2024!

INSTALLING YOUR NEW GPU INTO OUR CASES

With all that out of the way, you want to know if there’s anything different about installing the new GPUs in our case! Good news - for the Y40, Y60,and Y70 / Y70 Touch Infinite cases, installation of the cards remains the same– simply slot your new GPU into the included HYTE PCIE Gen 4 Luxury Riser Cable that lets the GPU be vertically mounted.

(As an aside, we announced our PCIE Gen 5 Luxury Riser Cable at CES this year, so stay tuned for when we launch that and how to get one!)

With the Revolt 3, the GeForce RTX 50 Series video cards are compatible with this case, but we recognize it has been a hot minute since we last explained how to build a computer using that case. *NOTE – the Revolt 3 case is compatible with the Founder’s Edition 50 Series GPUs, though we are doing testing on other video cards to see if they fit. Stay tuned to the product page for updates on which GPUs will fit in the Revolt 3 SOON.
