Everything I wanted AND More. MUST HAVE if you bought the Y70 w/ no screen
I was so disappointed that the original Y70 touch was discontinued and there was no official date for the Y70 upgrade kit, besides that it would be released Q3 2024. Hyte made my day when I woke up one morning announcing that the upgrade kit was available to purchase in early June. I bought it the day it was available, and patiently waited for it to ship and arrive. Once I received it, installation was easy except for screwing in the top screws of the the screen. The touch screen is beautiful, and the customization of the widgets is superb. You can do so much with it (it's essentially a 3rd monitor), but I choose to leave it as a dynamic wallpaper with my setup. I adjust it to monitor hardware temps as needed.

Just received my display screen today and it works great. I have a white Y70 and having it match is just perfect.

Very pleasant
I preordered this display when it was first available and I say it was worth the wait. The quality is worth the price. The installation was easy for the most part, the only difficulty I had was getting the top 2 screws threaded correctly but other than that it was a breeze. The software is user friendly and has quite a few customization options. Overall I am very satisfied with this upgrade for my pc.
